IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert Floyd
"Bob" Cooley
November 24, 1947 – November 30, 2025
Robert Floyd "Bob" Cooley, 78, of Saratoga Springs, New York, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2025, after a brief illness.
Bob was born on November 24, 1947, and spent his entire life in Saratoga Springs, a place he loved and was proud to call home. He was intellectual and renowned for his refreshingly youthful sense of humor, one that stayed with him until the very end.
Bob worked for New York State for a number of years, and later found a job he loved at the Saratoga Springs Public Library. Throughout the years, he especially enjoyed the people with whom he worked, appreciating the inside jokes and laughter, and being a part of an important component to the community in which he was raised.
Bob had a lifelong fascination with trains, bridges, ferries, geography, and roller coasters. He had a curious mind, which fueled his appreciation and enthusiasm for these hobbies. With his encyclopedic knowledge of these things, and a bit about everything else, Bob was most certainly an engaging conversationalist.
Bob is survived by his loving family: wife Ann Cooley, daughter Erin Cooley, son James Cooley (Erin Eatough Cooley), and grandchildren: Liam Campaigniac, Travis Campaigniac, Calvin Cooley, and Harper Cooley.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on December 9th, 11:00AM, at St. Clement's Church, 231 Lake Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
