Saratoga Springs – Robert "Bobo" Braim, formerly of Pearl Street in Saratoga Springs, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Wesley Health Care Center.

Born in Saratoga Springs on March 26, 1933, Bob was the son of the late Harry & Elizabeth (Sesselman) Braim. He worked for Van Raalte Company and retired in 2004 from the Saratoga Springs Department of Public Works.

Bob was a kind man with a good soul. He always was there to lend a hand to friends and neighbors. He loved working in his yard and in his garden. Bob loved talking to people and had an incredible sense of humor that made you feel good when you were around him. He will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sisters Norine Leight, Marty Braim, and Mary Scranton; his brothers Harold and Jack "Blossom" Braim; his niece Wendy LoCicero and nephews Richard Leight II, Keith VanHyning and Charles Braim.

Survivors include many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews as well as his brother Gerald (Mary) Braim of Gansevoort.

Friends and family may call from 4 to 6:30pm on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (584-5373). A funeral home service will be conducted at 6:30pm by Rev. George J. Blasick, C.Ss.R.

Burial will be at 2pm Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Maplewood Cemetery in Saratoga Springs.

Bob's family wishes to thank the staff on 4 Springs at Wesley for their care and devotion, the nurses and the aides who took the time to stop and chat with him and bring a smile to his face, Bob's care consultants who made his stay as comfortable as possible, and to Community Hospice for their care and compassion in making his final days peaceful.

We would also like to thank Christine and Kevin for being amazing neighbors and friends, and for their constant visits that brought a smile to him.
