Saratoga Springs, NY - Robert Lawrence Gordon, 60 passed away on July 11, 2024 at the Slate Valley Nursing Home after a short illness. Born on September 11, 1963, he was a lifelong resident of Saratoga Springs.

Robert graduated from Saratoga Springs High School. He went on to work in maintenance at SPAC and Saratoga Hospital before he learned the art of chair canning. This became a lifelong hobby.

He enjoyed taking drives with his mom, Marie and his beloved pet dog buddy.

Robert is predeceased by his father Lawrence S. Gordon. He leaves behind his mother Marie T. Gordon, brother Scott P. Gordon (Christina), lifelong friend Dorothy Butler, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family would like to thank everyone at the Saratoga Springs Fire Department as well as the staff at Saratoga Hospital for all of the care and assistance they have provided.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm, on Monday July 29, 2024 at Malta Ridge Cemetery, 2882 US-9, Ballston Spa, NY 12020.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Saratoga Hospital .
