Wilton, NY - Robert G. Hiller, of Loughberry Mobile Home Park, passed away Tuesday (Mar. 30, 2010) at his residence. He was 61. Born on June 21, 1948 in Saratoga Springs, NY, he was a son of the late Robert G. and Helen (Ryan) Hiller and was a lifelong resident. A 1966 graduate of St. Peter's Academy, he was employed for over 30 years at the General Electric Company in Schenectady where he worked as a valve and fire extinguish inspector and retired from their fire division in 2004. He was a volunteer member of the Schuylerville Hose Company and an avid collector of all fire related equipment and memorabilia. Bob was also an enthusiastic New York Mets baseball fan all his life. In addition to his parents, Bob was predeceased by his wife Gail Hiller. Survivors include his brothers and sister, Edward Hiller and Joyce (husband Jim) Hilliker, all of Saratoga Springs and John (Sylvia) Hiller of Queensbury. Relatives and friends may call from 3 to 7pm Wednesday (April 7, 2010) at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway (584-5373), Saratoga Springs. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
