Saratoga Springs, NY Robert (Bob) E. Teal, Sr., 73, of Jones Road passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Saratoga Hospital. Bob was born and raised in Rensselaer until moving to Saratoga Springs 25 years ago. He was owner and operator of Teals Waste Service for 42 years, first in the Albany and Colonie areas, then relocating service to Saratoga Springs and surrounding towns. He is predeceased by his parents, Howard P. and Lillian J. Teal, Sr.; his sister, Mildred Blount and his brother Howard P. Teal, Jr. Survivors include his wife of 25 years Dawn (Greenwalt) Teal of Saratoga Springs; his daughter Colleen (David) Conti and two grandchildren, Lauren and Aiden of Schenectady; his son Robert E. Teal, Jr. of Slingerlands; two step-daughters Tara A. Shaw of Saratoga Springs and Carrie (Shaw) Oliver; three grandchildren, Jamie, Dalton and Riley Oliver; one brother Allen (Linda) Teal of Florida; close friends of the family John Salvi of Saratoga Springs and Grace Sheldon of Rensselaer. Relatives and friends may call from 5 to 7pm Monday, January 2, 2012 at the William J. Burke and Sons/Bussing and Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (584-5373). Services will follow at 7pm at the funeral home officiated by The Reverend Tracy Mauran.
