Saratoga Springs – Robert Joseph Vogel (Bob), 93, lifelong resident of Saratoga Springs passed away on July 16, 2021.

Born on February 24, 1928, he was the son of the late Andrew and Margaret Fuelner Vogel.  He served honorably in the US Army from 1950-1952.  Bob was a graduate of St. Peter's Academy of Saratoga Springs and worked for the telephone company for his entire career.

He is survived by family members Roberta Vogel Schaum, Brenda Vogel, and Margaret Keefe.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brothers John and Clarence and his sisters Lillian and Dorothy Vogel, and his companion Rosemary Crowley.

Bob loved to dine out at his favorite bars and restaurants.  He also loved caring for his pets, playing golf with Rosemary along with spending time with her children and grandchildren.  Bob was an avid fan of Notre Dame Football.  He always enjoyed boating on Lake George and classic cars.

Bob was a true gentleman, who much like his favorite singer, Frank Sinatra, did it "My Way".

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at the historic Church of St. Peter, 241 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY.

Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, West Ave.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saratoga County SPCA , PO Box 64, Rexford, NY or the Church of St. Peter.
