Halfmoon, NY - Robert C. Weatherwax, 77, passed away Monday (February 20, 2017) at his residence, with family at his side.

Bob was born in Schenectady and was the son of the late Freemont and Caroline (Ryer) Weatherwax. He graduated from Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School, Empire College and SUNY-Albany with a MS. He served in the US Coast Guard and worked in Information Technology at GE, AMC, and CT Male before teaching at ACC and WWHE-BOCES from which he retired. Bob was a great fan of all things Saratoga and enjoyed travel.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Robert Jr.

Survivors include his wife Jo Ann (Meiklejohn) Weatherwax; a son, Scott; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be conducted at 11am Saturday (Mar. 4, 2017) at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing and Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs. Immediately following, a luncheon will be served at a local restaurant, which will be announced at the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to the Make A Wish Northeast NY, 3 Washington Sq., Albany, NY  12205, or to your favorite charity.
