Saratoga Springs, NY - Roberta J. Diehl passed away on June 17, 2014 at Wesley Health Care Center. She was 85. Born June 16, 1929 in Saratoga Springs, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Hazel (Miller) Dowen. Roberta was a lifelong resident of Saratoga Springs and was a graduate of Saratoga Springs High School. She was a therapy aid at the Wilton Developmental Center until her retirement. Roberta enjoyed bowling and being with her family and friends. Survivors include one son, Robert Diehl and his wife Lori of Wilton NY; one daughter, Carol Morrow and her husband Ken of Hillsborough, NJ; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call from 9 to 11am Monday June 23, 2014 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway. A funeral service will follow at 11am at the funeral home and burial will be in the family plot at Vale Cemetery, Schenectady.
