Saratoga Springs - Roberta M. McGee, 80 years old, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 10, 2023 at the Home of the Good Shepherd.

Bobbie, as most everyone called her was born in Saratoga Springs on December 6 ^th , 1942 to the late Arthur (Bob) and Aleatha (Baker) Hayes. She was a graduate of Saratoga Springs High School. When she retired from AT&T as a billing representative, Bobbie and her late husband Joseph T. McGee, Sr., two lovebirds, spent their winters in Ocala, Florida for many years before their health declined.

In addition to her parents and husband, Bobbie was predeceased by two brothers Donald and A.J., her sister Hazel and a daughter Colleen McGee Heidhues, who passed away at the age of 52 in Florida.

Bobbie was a kindhearted woman to all. A loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved to spoil her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter Kelley Jo McGee of Saratoga, who gave Bobbie five grandkids to dote on; Barry, Brandon, Kayleigh, Heath and Colin. Her son Joseph T. McGee Jr. married Lynne (Archibald) and they gave Bobbie two more grandchildren, Maeve and Ronan.  She also is survived by a sister, Sandy Thompson of Porter Corners.

Her family would like to thank the Home of the Good Shepherd for their care and service, as well as Hospice for their compassionate efforts at her end of life.

A graveside service will be conducted at 10am Wednesday, February 15 at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Roberta's honor to Community Hospice of Saratoga, 179 Lawrence Street, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
