Gansevoort, NY - Robin (Roberta) Hoffman died on June 22, 2017 at Saratoga Hospital, after a long battle with cancer.

Robin was born March 18, 1953 in Utica to the late Robert and Delores Lockrow. She graduated from Longmeadow High School, Longmeadow, MA in 1971.  As a young woman she worked in insurance in Hartford, CT and Arlington, VA. Robin and Richard Hoffman were married on July 10, 1982 in Arlington.

In the course of her marriage to Richard, Robin lived in Cedarville, OH, Sauquoit, NY, East Flat Rock, NC, Carrboro, NC, Athens, GA, and Gansevoort, NY.  She was a Christian who worshipped in churches of several traditions.  Robin's passion was the care of unwanted cats and kittens. With Richard, she gave a loving home to many feline fur babies. After moving to Saratoga Springs, she became an avid golfer and played with her husband and friends at Airway Meadows Golf Club.

She is survived by her husband, Chaplain Rich Hoffman, her sister-in-law, Carol Butler, several cousins and nieces. In addition to her parents, Robin is predeceased by her brother, Raymond Lockrow.

Family and Friends extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. Edward Liebers and the staff of Saratoga Medical Oncology, the nurses of the ICU and C3, Dr. Sooriabalan and Deanna Veet NP, of the Saratoga Hospital palliative care team and the SIP group.

A memorial service will be celebrated in July. Further information is to be announced.
