Wilton, NY- Robin LaForest, 65, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, March 3, 2019.

Born in Plattsburgh, NY on January 2, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Roland Joseph and Ruth Marie (Coryer) LaForest.

As a child living on Lake Champlain, Robin would go trout fishing and boating with her father and sisters.  During her life time Robin had a full life, she loved to travel, went on a Caribbean cruise, enjoyed camping, going to Disney World and many other activities.  Robin loved to shop and show you what she bought and enjoyed looking stylish and put together. She also loved going out to dinner.  Robin enjoyed music of all kinds including country, dancing music, 80's music and Disney music. Disney movies were always a big favorite and she had a collection of Mini and Mickey Mouse Disney collectables.  She also collected ceramic cats and had a cabinet to display them.   Robin spent many happy years living in various residences staffed by Living Resources.

Survivors include her sisters, Rhonda Burnham of Jordan, NY and Kim Hart of Plattsburgh, NY; her special friends, Karen Derusha and her family; as well as her beloved cat, "Mama".

A funeral home service will be conducted at 1:00pm on Wednesday March 13, 2019 at the William J. Burke & Sons Funeral Home, 628 N. Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
