SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY- Rocco G. (Rock) Levo, Sr., 80,  passed away September 27, 2025 at Saratoga Hospital. He was predeceased by his father, Sabbath Levo and his mother, Marie P. Levo.

Rocco graduated from St. Peter's Academy, Class of '63 and served the community in various roles. While he was a NYS DOT highway worker in 1977, he was critically injured resulting in months of hospitalization and learning how to live with paraplegia. For the past 48 years Rock has lived life, often on his own terms, always striving to remain independent. While living with paraplegia did not allow him to do many things that he loved, he continued, with the help of friends, family and care givers, especially Jene Benson, to live in his own home, garden, cook and follow his beloved NY Giants.

Rocco is survived by his son, Rocco G. Levo, Jr., his daughter and dearest neighbor, Gina M. Levo (Anthony Wicks) Saratoga and his faithful sister Lynn M. Levo, CSJ, a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet, Albany, NY.

He loved and was loved by his grandchildren and great grandchildren: Anthony Levo (Sara and Ava), frequent visitors and helpers, Izabella Levo, Devin Wicks (Teianha Wicks, Devin Jr., Mateo), Darius Wicks (Samantha Wicks) and Trevon Wicks (Sara Wicks, and Alaia) who shared celebrations with their grandfather.

Friends and family are invited to call on Thursday, October 2, from 4-7 pm at William J. Burke & Sons/ Bussing & Cunniff  Funeral Home, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga, NY 12866. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 3 at 10AM in the Church of St. Peter, 231 Broadway, Saratoga Springs. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, West Ave.
