Saratoga Springs, NY- Rose Mary Brownell, 87, of Saratoga Springs passed away at the Wesley Health Care Center on December 24, 2020. She was born September 24, 1933 in Schenectady NY, to the late Harry & Suzie Keosaian.

Rose was a waitress and a housekeeper for many years. On September 3, 1955 she married, Frank William Brownell and resided in Saratoga Springs, NY, where they raised two sons, Frank & Peter. She and Frank enjoyed camping with the boys and with the grandchildren for many years.  Rose was an avid crafter. She did ceramics (owning her own kiln). She did knitting, crocheting, plastic canvas, and beadwork. She always had a jigsaw puzzle that she was working on. Rose belonged to numerous senior groups and was a member of the red hatters. She had a very special group of friends who would get together at each other's' houses on Sundays to play cards or games and have snacks and sometimes sleepovers and sometimes wine.

In addition to her parents, Rose, was predeceased by her husband Frank; her son Peter; her sisters Elsie, Helen, Virginia & Tish; and her brother Ray.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Frank & Terri Brownell; Peter's wife Patty; her brother Sam (Wilma) Keosaian; sisters Kay (Tuffy) McCormick, Frances Unger; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Vernon & Claudia Brownell; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Fern & Barry Langer; sister-in-law Mary; 3 grandchildren Joe (Christine) Brownell, Frank (Alie) Brownell, Kelly Brownell (Chris Madison); 4 great grandchildren Piper, Emma, Carter and Camellia and many nieces and nephews & lots of friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at Wesley for all of their kindness, care, and compassion for Rose while she was in your care.
