Saratoga Springs, NY- Rose Marie (VanDenburgh) Farrell passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 surrounded by her family.

Rose was born in Saratoga Springs, New York on April 30, 1941, the youngest child of 23, and as such, made her presence known from that day on. In 1959, she met and married her husband, the late Roy R Farrell. While doing the most difficult job on the planet, being a wife and a mother, Rose moved across the country and indeed, across the world with her family as an Air Force wife. The family finally settled in Satellite Beach, Florida. After all her children left the nest, Rose and her husband flew the coup as well and travelled the country in their 5 ^th wheel. When she was done seeing the sights, she came back to her roots in Saratoga Springs.

Rose was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She devoted her life to making every house she lived in feel like a home for her family. Where ever Rose was, there was happiness and warmth inside, even if it was frigid outside.

She is survived by her children, Tanya Donaldson of Greenfield Center, New York; Roy Farrell II and his wife Sandra, of Saratoga Springs, New York; and Timothy Farrell and his wife Kathy, of Cocoa, Florida. Grandchildren, James Williams, Mandy Donaldson, Samantha Irwin, John Donaldson, Justin Albert, Cassie Albert, Shane Farrell, Shawn Farrell, Lee Burns III, William Burns, Chrystina Strickland, Emily Strickland, and Kara Strickland. Numerous cousins and nieces and nephews.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are under the direction of the William J. Burke & Sons/ Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Home, 628 N. Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.

In lieu of flower donations can be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital, Shands Children's Hospital, or the Shriner's Hospital. Children's hospitals had a very special place in her heart.
