Saratoga Springs - Rosemarie Dominick, a beloved member of the Saratoga Springs community, passed away on August 6, 2023, at the age of 76. She was born on November 29, 1946, in Saratoga Springs, New York. Rosemarie was a lifelong resident of the city, deeply rooted in its history and cherished by all who knew her.

Rosemarie was known for her quick wit and great sense of humor, which endeared her to everyone she met. She had a passion for cooking and was a fantastic cook, delighting her family and friends with her culinary creations. She also enjoyed dancing, Jeopardy, crossword puzzles, and classic movies. An avid history buff, she loved learning about the past and sharing her knowledge with others. In her leisure time, Rosemarie found solace in embroidery, creating beautiful works of art with her skilled hands.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Stacey Ovanes (Matt) and Melissa DeFrees (Glenn), as well as her nieces, Laura Rec (Paul) and Julie Williams (Chip). Rosemarie adored her grandchildren, Hayden Grace, Carlo Antonio, Nico Vittorio, and Chloe Patrice, who brought immense joy to her life.

Rosemarie was preceded in death by her father, Frank J. Dominick, her mother, Ethel M. Coulson-Dominick, and her sister, Jeanine Dominick-Kocmich. Their memories will forever be cherished by those who loved them.

Rosemarie's career was marked by dedication and compassion. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Saratoga Hospital, where she provided comfort and care to countless patients. She also served as a Teacher's Aide in the Saratoga Springs School System, supporting the education and growth of young minds. Additionally, Rosemarie worked as a cashier at Price Chopper, brightening the days of customers with her warm smile and kind demeanor.

A private service will be held to celebrate Rosemarie's life and honor her memory. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, an organization that was close to Rosemarie's heart.

Rosemarie Dominick will be remembered as a beautiful woman, whose vibrant spirit and unwavering love touched the lives of all who knew her. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
