Saratoga Springs, NY - Rosemary A. Miller passed away Wednesday Aug. 12, 2009 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peters' Hospital, Albany after a brief illness. She was 82. Born on October 11, 1926 in Rochester, NY she was the daughter of the late Joseph Leonard and Marie C. (Light) Bowe. Rosemary graduated from Heidelberg University in Tiffin, OH and went on to get her Masters in Education from the College of St. Rose, Albany. She was an avid reader and loved traveling the world, often to attend operas. Some of her favorite pastimes were playing bridge, collecting antiques and spending time in Naples, FL and the Adirondacks. She was most dedicated to her family and friends. Rosemary was a devoted parishioner of St. Clement's Church. Survivors include her children, Mary Ellen (Ira) Keiter of Longmeadow, MA, Robert J. (Tricia) Miller of Fredonia, Anne Marie (Rick) Knizek of Rexford, John (Betty) Miller of Ft. Edward, and Rosemary (Richard) Tiersch of Saratoga Springs; her fifteen grandchildren and one great grandson and her beloved cat Phoebe. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30am Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009 at St. Clement's Church, 231 Lake Ave. with Rev. Paul J. Borowski, C.Ss.R. officiating.
