Saratoga Springs Rosena Lynn (Palmer) Vogel, of Newton Ave., passed away Sunday (Mar. 22, 2009) at Saratoga Hospital. She was 102. Born on Feb.27, 1907 in Saratoga Springs, NY, she was the daughter of the late Sidney Charles and Elizabeth (Bessie) Stone Palmer and was a lifelong resident. A graduate of Saratoga Springs High School, she attended the Eastman Business School and was a communicant of the Church of St. Peter. Mrs. Vogel had worked as a private domestic for several years and also was employed by the G.F. Harvey Company and Skidmore College, prior to her retirement. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Harold W. Vogel, who died Oct. 28, 1975, two brothers, Arthur and Thomas Palmer; two sisters, Agnes Reals and Dorothy Kuhn and her stepmother-in-law, Teresa Vogel. Survivors include her daughter, Miss Virginia E. Vogel of Saratoga Springs; her special niece Charlene Brown and her husband Ted of Ft. Edward; several nieces, including Mary DeRosa of Syracuse and Lorraine Decatur of Mechanicville; one nephew, James Reals of New York City; several grand nieces and nephews, great-grand nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30am Wednesday at the Chapel in the Church of St. Peter, 241 Broadway. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Peters Church at 10:30am by Rev. Dominic S. Ingemie, pastor. Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Peters Cemetery, West Ave. Arrangements are under the direction of the William J.
