Saratoga Springs, NY- Royle H. Kressner, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026. Born May 19, 1933, he was the son of the late Herbert and Julia Kressner.
Royle devoted over four decades of his career as a draftsman at Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he served his country with honor in the New York National Guard before being drafted to the Army.
A man of many passions, Royle was known for his storytelling, captivating those around. He found great joy in fishing, he even belonged to his company’s fishing club: "Knolls Fishing Club”. Royle took pride in maintaining his property throughout the year, demonstrating a love for care and attention to detail. He was also an engaged follower of politics.
Family was at the heart of Royle’s greatest joys. He treasured time spent with his grandchildren.
Along with his parents, Royle was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jutta Kressner; and his cherished grandson, Braden Kressner. He is survived by his brother, Herbert Kressner; his sons, Jeff Kressner and his wife Michele and Gary Kressner and his wife Sandy; as well as his granddaughter, Katherine.
Services will be private.
Burial with Military Honors will take place at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY at the convenience of the family.
