Sally Hart Duval 88, of Saratoga Springs, NY passed away peacefully on Friday, September 25, 2026.

Sally was born on January 24, 1938 in the Cohoes Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Kathleen (Bombard) Hart of Green Island, NY. She was the wife of the late Ernest C. Duval and resided in Saratoga Springs for many years.

Sally was a graduate of The College of Saint Rose and taught elementary school in several area schools. She retired from The Cohoes City School District and enjoyed doing volunteer work for several years.

Sally loved being a member of St. Peter's Church and was a proud member of The Ladies of Charity.

Survivors include her two sons and their partners, Ted Russell (Matthew) and Matthew Russell (Jules) of Los Angeles and Palm Springs, CA. She is survived by her sixteen nieces and nephews as well as several very dear cousins. Sally was predeceased by her brothers, Robert L. Hart, and her sister-in-law Lois Hart, James K. Hart and her sister-in-law Liz Hart, her sister Joy K. Bryk and her brother-in-law William Z. Bryk and her sister Judith A. Hart.

The family thanks "Sally's Angels" Sharon, Agatha, Erminia, and Karen and Hospice, especially her nurse Hannah, who together made it possible for Sally to remain happily at home. Heartfelt thanks as well to her very caring and supportive nieces and nephews who were always offering their help.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated that day at 12:00pm the Church of St. Peter, 241 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 followed with a burial in Greenridge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Sally requested that donations be made to the Church of St. Peter, Saratoga Springs, NY or Community Hospice and that you perform an act of kindness in her memory.
