Sally Suttile Higgins passed away on April 26, 2022 at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC. Sally was surrounded by family. She was 82 years old and a longtime resident of Saratoga Springs, NY.

Born on November 29, 1939 to Salvatore Joseph and Mary Elizabeth (Donahue) Suttile of Stamford, CT. Sally attended Sacred Heart Academy in Stamford, CT graduating in 1957 and Greenwich Hospital School of Nursing, Greenwich, CT graduating in 1960.

Married August 6, 1960, Sally was the loving wife of M. James Higgins for 58 years. Preceded in death by her parents, Sal and Mary, her husband, Jim, and her brother, Joe. Sally has four surviving children: Timothy M. Higgins and his wife Lisa of Saratoga Springs, NY; Elizabeth A. Benoit and her husband Anthony of Hingham, MA; Margaret H. Mraz and her husband Paul of Chapel Hill, NC; and Matthew J. Higgins and his wife Lauren of Myrtle Beach, SC. She has twelve grandchildren and three granddaughters in law: Ryan Higgins and his wife Mary Cate; Lindsay Higgins; Christopher Benoit and his wife Amanda; Sean Benoit; Justin Benoit; Maisie, Colin and Martin Mraz; Mason Higgins and his wife Zoe; Hannah, Lola and Poppy Higgins. Sally is also survived by her brother Frank Suttile of Woodbury, CT and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Sally will be remembered by many as a kind and generous soul. She will forever be honored as mother, sister, grandmother, neighbor, and friend. Sally appreciated learning, travel, artistic expression, and creativity. The variety of friends she made in all the seasons of her lifetime were very important to her. Family and friends brought her joy. More than anyone, Sally loved her many grandchildren. We trust her earnest faith in God carries her eternally.

A private, family service of remembrance will be held for Sally. She will be buried in a family plot at St. Peter's Cemetery on West Avenue, Saratoga Springs, NY.
