IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sarah A.
Hopkins
March 12, 1959 – December 20, 2024
Saratoga Springs, NY - Sarah A. Hopkins, 65, of Saratoga Springs passed away after a brief courageous battle with Cancer on December 20, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Syracuse to the late Joseph T. and Faith M. Dolan Hopkins. Sarah was a graduate of Niskayuna High School, later attending the New School of Radio & Television and Institute of Astrology and Metaphysics.
Fueled by her passion for learning and the way the stars aligned, Sarah charted her course through life as a Professional Astrologer. Providing spiritual guidance and sharing her knowledge with others, including writing articles for local publications, teaching adult-education, and working as a consultant for local murder and missing person cases. Her dedication to Astrology was mirrored in her earthly endeavors as a natural caretaker. Providing respite care through Aim Services, Inc. as well as private compassionate homecare to many in the twilight of their own lives.
Sarah lived a vibrant life full of energy and adventure, touching the hearts of everyone she met with her beauty, kindness, and luminous spirit. Whether by the ocean, a lake, or the backyard pool, she found her deepest peace and joy in the outdoors, soaking in sunrises, sunsets, and the ever-changing phases of the moon. She especially enjoyed spending time with "her girls", gardening, reading, watching a sporting event, placing a bet on the horses, kitchen dancing or enjoying a lobster dinner.
Sarah is survived by her loving partner of 23 years, Brian White; dearest daughters, Kara Gilles (Matt) and Lily White; adored Granddaughter, Ella Eichorst; siblings, Marjorie Joy Hopkins, Joseph T. Hopkins, Jr., Daniel (Stacy) Hopkins, and Mark F. (Pamela) Hopkins; The White Family; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends near and far. She was predeceased by her parents and brother, Thomas P. Hopkins.
