It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Sharon L. Roth of Troy, NY on September 30, 2023 at the age of 70, surrounded by her loving family at the home of her son David (Danielle) Miller Saratoga Springs, NY.

Born in Haverhill, MA, Sharon was the daughter of the late Ernest and Emma Louise (Emerson) Parquette.

Sharon is survived by her loving children, Austin (Michelle) Miller of Clifton Park, David (Danielle) Miller of Saratoga Springs, and Wendy (Eric) Montgomery of Schenectady; also her siblings Ronny Parquette, Francis Parquette, Ann Parquette and Patty Parquette as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her late father and mother, Sharon is predeceased from her husband of over 25 years Ronald Roth who she loved very deeply; as well as her brother Ray Parquette and sister Margaret Parquette.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Sharon, she had a contagious laugh and the things she would say would just make a person smile and immediately fall in love with her. She loved spending quality time with her sons and listening to her favorite music, and watching scary movies. Sharon also was an auxiliary of ladies at the Veterans of Lansingburgh, Inc. where she would help out and participate in functions. She also loved playing darts.

Sharon was dedicated to her children and was a stay at home mom through their younger years, before that she worked as a seamstress at Cohoes Garments for several years where she grew a great passion for sewing.

Relatives and friends may call from 12:30-1:30, Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.

Interment will follow at the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY. 12871.
