Ballston Spa, NY - Shelly Ann Swick, our dear sister, mother, aunt and friend, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019 at the Gateway House of Peace Hospice residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on November 25, 1949 in Saratoga Springs, she was the daughter of the late Raymond H. Swick and Vivian H. Davis Swick and step-daughter of the late Jesse C. Chase. She was employed for over 25 years in the hospitality industry at the Holiday Inn in Saratoga Springs. Shelly enjoyed spending time in Lake Placid and in the Adirondacks in general. She never had a bad word about anyone and enjoyed life to its fullest.

Survivors include her daughters, Jessie Moran, Mollie (Nick) Wagner and Caitlin Freshwater; her sister Judith Chase (Greg Wrobel); three brothers David (Theresa) Swick, Jeffrey (Eileen) Swick and Jon (Kathy) Swick as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Shelly's family would like to thank the volunteers and staff at the Gateway House of Peace and Hospice of Saratoga for their love and devotion.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the Gateway House of Peace, 479 Rowland St., Ballston Spa, NY 12020.

Services will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
