Greenwich, NY - Susan Claire Bernhardt passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 7, 2015 with her children by her side and surrounded by the love of her entire family. Susan lives on in her three children, Jason, Kiersten, and Lauren Agius and her grandson Jack Dillon. Suze was a wonderful mother who encouraged her children to embrace who they are and have the courage to follow their own path. Grandma Suzu instilled in her grandson, Jack, a spirit of wonder and imagination. Susan was the beloved daughter of the late Fred and Betty Bernhardt, who embrace her spirit now as she begins her next great journey. She was a magical sister to her ten brothers and sisters; Betsy, Margaret, Fred, Mary Ann, Geraldine, Joe, Monica, Katie, Lisa, and Jim. Suzie was pure light. She filled her life with service to others and in doing so found her true self. She was a seeker who felt a deep connection to nature and honored that connection through her artwork. We who loved her feel her power like an ocean wave, never ending. For all those who loved Susan, there will be a celebration of her life at The Inn at Saratoga (231 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY) Saturday, February 14th from 4pm - 6pm.
