Schuylerville, NY – Susan Lanfear, 76 passed away December 19, 2018.  Sue was born in Saratoga Springs, NY April 20, 1942 to the late William and Madeline Eichler, Sr.  Sue was a stay-at-home to five children.  Her children would say she was loved by all, an amazing compassionate woman; loyal and forgiving, and a huge lover of dogs and cats.

She loved to host super bowl parties, especially if the Steelers were playing as well as NASCAR.  A big fan of Elvis, and his impersonator Donnie "Elvis" who she followed for 20 years enjoying his shows and appearances as well as frequenting Country fest every year.  Sue was also very involved with NYS Jaycees.

Along with her parents, Sue was predeceased by her first husband Joseph Duell, her second husband Raymond Lanfear, and her life-long companion of 20 years Donald Adkins; her brother William Eichler. Jr.; and her granddaughter Alexus Lanfear.

Sue is survived by her daughters Melinda Nolan and her husband David, Brenda Buchholz, and Kimberly Lanfear; her sons Joseph Lanfear and his wife Kathy, Paul Lanfear and his wife Gina.  Also her grandchildren David Jr., Travis, and Christopher Nolan; Kristen and TJ Buchholz; Michael, Alexandria, and Nathaniel Lanfear; and Jazzmin and Rayonna Lanfear. Sue had five great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Friends and relatives may call on Friday December 21, 2018 from 5pm-8pm at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff, Inc. Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY.

A funeral service will be celebrated Saturday December 22, 2018 at 11am at the United Methodist Church Saratoga Springs, NY with burial to follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
