Saratoga Springs, NY - Sylvia M. Kondenar, formerly of West Circular St., passed away Tuesday evening (Dec. 30, 2008) at the Wesley Health Care Center, Lawrence St. She was 89. Born on Nov. 26, 1919 in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Max and Frances (Stetkar) Gorski and resided in Saratoga Springs since 1925. Married to the late Martin A. Kondenar, who died Feb. 23, 1974, she was a member of the Church of St. Peter. Survivors include her three daughters, Frances (and her husband John) LeMay of Saratoga Springs, Marsha (and her husband Larry) Briggs of Phoenixville, PA and Kathryn (and her husband Robert) Finch of Carol Stream, IL; one son, Martin A. (and his wife Elinor) Kondenar of Ballston Spa; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and several cousins. There will be no public calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am Saturday (Jan. 3, 2009) at the Church of St. Peter, 241 Broadway, by Father Dominic S. Ingemie, pastor. Burial will be in the family plot at St. Peter's Cemetery, West Ave. Memorials may be made in her name to a charity of one's choice. Arrangements are under the direction of the William J.
