Stillwater, NY - Tab Christopher DeNovellis, 62, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Saratoga Hospital on Thursday, September 29, 2022, after a short, but courageous battle with cancer.

He was born in Johnson City, NY, and was the son of the late Louis and Norma DeNovellis. Tab was also predeceased by his granddaughter Emery Kay Thompson. He was a dedicated and loving father, grandfather, and friend. He was a graduate of Union Endicott High School and a loyal employee and executive of Southern Tier Insulations for over 40 years. Tab was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and collector. He also enjoyed golfing, snowmobiling, boating, and caring for the Stables ranch. Tab exuded boundless energy and enthusiasm, his zest for life was contagious. He put his heart and soul into everything he did. His family and friends will have countless memories to reflect on as the days turn into years.

Tab is survived by his daughters, Ciera DeNovellis and Angelina (Sam) Thompson, and his granddaughter Kezia Thompson. He also leaves behind his fiancé Kelli Proffitt, sister, Lorna (Joe) Cline, brothers, Louis and Richard (Angela) DeNovellis, and former wife, Linda Tomlinson. Uncle Tab leaves behind his nephews, Michael (Lauren) Saleeby, Steven (Heather) Saleeby, Kevin (Oksana) Cline, and Matthew (Rebekah) Cline as well as six great nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to visitation on Tuesday, October 4, from 4-7 p.m. at William J. Burke & Sons Funeral Home, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs. A funeral ceremony will be held on Wednesday, October 5, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenridge Cemetery in Saratoga Springs immediately following the service. All are invited to a celebration of Tab at the Stables, his beloved barn, 1070 County Route 70 Stillwater, NY 12170, on Wednesday, October 5, at 4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in memory of Tab to be made to Toys for Tots @ www.toysfortots.org or St. Jude's Research Hospital @ www.stjude.org . The family would like to thank all of the kind and caring staff at Saratoga Hospital in his last days.
