Obituary

Terence Edward O’Hara of Brooklyn, NY (Saratoga Springs, NY) passed away in his home on March 29th, 2026. He was 60 years old.

Born in Saratoga Springs, NY in 1966, he was the son of the late Anthony “Spike” O’Hara & Rosemary O’Hara. He attended and graduated Saratoga Springs High School in1985 where he was an All-Conference Football player 1984 & 1985, Captain of the Varsity team and a 3-year Letterman. He attended Skidmore College.

He moved to Boca Raton in 1998 earning his Construction Management Certifications from Florida Atlantic University in 2001. He was employed as a Commercial Glass Sales Specialist for 12 years in Deerfield Beach, FL. In 2013 he moved back to the New York City area continuing as a Commercial Glass Sales Specialist. He was a frequent visitor to family and friends in Saratoga Springs.

Terence (T-Ball) was always on the go, an avid skier for many years, he took to roller blades when he moved to the Florida and later to the NY Metro Area. He loved music, self-taught himself the guitar and bass in his younger years. He also took to drawing various scenes in NYC when time permitted over the years. His passion and love were his family, particularly spending time with his nieces & nephews taking them skating, skiing, hiking, you name it! Uncle Terence was always up for any activity they suggested. He will always be remembered by his nieces and nephews as the fun Uncle.

Terence is predeceased by his parents, Anthony & Rosemary O’Hara, and survived by his loving Siblings: Kevin O’Hara (wife Dalia) of Bixby, OK; Sean O’Hara of Stroudsburg, PA; Siobian O’Hara of New Smyrna Beach, FL; Bridget O’Hara of Lexington, KY; Brendan O’Hara (wife Kerry) both of Saratoga Springs, NY and Brian O’Hara.

He also leaves his loving nephews & nieces: Liam O’Hara (CA), Ian O’Hara (Brooklyn) and Shannon O’Hara (OK); Spencer, Austin, and Lauren Hicks (FL), Alex Wood (Barcelona, Spain) and Nicole Wood (Denver, CO), and Catherine O’Hara (Saratoga Springs, NY).

He has left an everlasting influence on the next generation through his generous heart, kindness, and adventurous spirit.

In celebration, a private family ceremony will be held in his memory Friday, May 29th, 2026. There will be no public calling hours. We encourage all those who knew Terence to pray in his Memory and those he has left behind. In lieu of any flowers, donations are encouraged to be made online to: St. John’s Bread & Life Program, Brooklyn, NY.
