Saratoga Springs, NY - Theodore A. Everts, Sr. passed away Monday, Feb. 4, 2013 at Saratoga Hospital. Born on June 12, 1936 in Moreau, NY he was the son of the late Claude and Martha (Evretts) Everts. He was a mason/welder for the masonry company SARCO in Saratoga Springs. Ted served his country in the Navy from 1959 to 1961. He was very much a handyman and also enjoyed gardening. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Lorraine L. Everts (Sept. 4, 2004) and his daughter Melissa J. Scoville (Dec. 7, 2012). Survivors include his son Theodore A. Everts, Jr. and wife Janice C. Curry-Everts and his grandson Michael Curry; son-in-law Robert Scoville; three sisters and several nieces and nephews. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. The family would like to say a special thanks to Ted's niece, Deborah Swinton, for all her care and attention given to him in his last years.
