Niskayuna, NY - Theresa Hastings Bolger passed away peacefully at home on July 11, 2022, after a two year long courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 60 years old.

Born June 9, 1962 in Niskayuna, she was the daughter of Jane Healy Hastings and the late John "Jack" Hastings. Theresa graduated from Niskayuna High School in 1981 and later attended the Europa School of Cosmetology.  She was employed at Hair City Cutters in Schenectady. A master barber and licensed cosmetologist, Theresa then became the proud owner of the Niskayuna Barbershop where she enjoyed her wonderful customers for twelve years.

Theresa loved knitting and crocheting and made beautiful pieces. She also loved to draw and paint. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

In addition to her mother Jane, Theresa is survived by her husband William H. Bolger III; her son Ryan Hastings; two brothers John and Brooks Hastings; her niece Hannah Hastings and nephew Andrew Hastings.

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
