Saratoga Springs, NY - Theresa A. "Terry" Rourke, age 80, passed away peacefully on July, 28, 2024 at The Home of the Good Shepherd. Terry was born in Albany, NY on February 13, 1944, to the late Edward and Theresa (Prall) Crowley.

Terry was a devoted homemaker and later was an employee of NYS Tax and Finance for over 16 years. Terry also enjoyed working part time at JC Penney's for over 10 years. She was a member of the Eagles Club along with being a proud member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Principessa Elena Society. Terry loved her grandchildren, enjoyed traveling with friends, and was a member of bowling and golfing leagues.

Terry was predeceased by her husband of 28 years, Dennis Rourke, Sr. (1992). She was also predeceased by her sister Kathleen Gottfredson and brother-in-law Robert Gottfredson.

Terry is survived by her children Christine (William) McDonough, Dennis (Jennifer) Rourke and Brian (Kathleen) Rourke. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, William McDonough, Jr., Meghan McDonough, Emma Rourke, Molly Rourke, Liam Rourke and Maeve Rourke; her sisters Carol (Dennis) Crowley and Mary (Kevin) Crowley; brother Patrick (Rosita) Crowley and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family wants to acknowledge the wonderful care Mom received from The Home of the Good Shepherd over the last 5 years, along with a special thanks to Lynn DeCenzo for the special care and love she gave Mom over the last 8 years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am, August 6, 2024 at St. Clement's Church, 231 Lake Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY.

A burial will follow at 12:30PM at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY 12871.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to Saratoga Community Hospice at 179 Lawrence St., Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
