Saratoga Springs, NY - Thomas J. Benson of Gordon Lane passed away Wed. Aug. 26, 2009 at Saratoga Hospital. He was 22. Born April 8, 1987 in Saratoga Springs, he was the son Debbie Benson and Peter Bell. Thomas was a 2005 graduate of Ballston Spa High School. He was a former Boy Scout and enjoyed fishing and computers. He especially liked playing Nintendo. Thomas was a past member of the Saratoga Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Thomas is survived by one sister, Lana Bell of Johnstown; two brothers, Peter Bell, Jr. of Johnstown, Joseph Benson of Amsterdam; grandparents, Rose Bell and Ken Butler of Ballston Spa; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He also leaves behind many special friends. Thomas is predeceased by his grandparents, Ralph and Hazel Benson and his grandfather Tom Bell.
