Saratoga Springs, NY - Thomas Michael Chura, of the Wesley Health Care Center, Lawrence Street, passed away Tuesday (Mar. 23, 2010) at Saratoga Hospital. He was 82. Born on Oct. 18, 1928 in Hazelton, PA, he was a son of the late Michael and Anna Chura. He left high school to join the US Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. In the 1970's, he was employed at the Wise Potato Chip factory where he also served as a union official. He had also owned and operated his own ice cream stand. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Helen Chura and a brother, George Chura. Survivors include his sons, Barry (Pam) Chura of Ballston Spa and Rick Miknich of Berwick, PA; his grandsons, Joshua and Jerritt Chura; one great-grandson, Caleb Chura and one nephew. Funeral services will be held in Pennsylvania and he will be interred alongside his late wife. Arrangements are under the direction of the William J.
