Obituary

SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY- Mr. Thomas J. Nowak died peacefully on December 31, 2017 from a long illness at the age of 75.

Tom was born on May 22, 1942, in Cohoes, NY. In the spring of 1964, Tom graduated from Siena College and married the love of his life, Sharon.

Tom worked as an Insurance agent for Prudential Insurance, retiring in 2005.

Tom loved spending time with his family going to parks, attending mass, watching movies, eating pizza and watching NASCAR. Tom was always fascinated with lighthouses and loved going to visit them with his wife.

Tom remained happy until the end of his life. His staff always commented on how pleasant and sweet Tom was to others. He adored visits from his family and took great pride in his children and grandchildren's accomplishments.

Tom is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sharon; his children, Amy Ross (Larry), John Nowak, Karen Nowak and Lawrence Nowak; his granddaughters, Carina and Gianna; his brother in law, Peter Lajeunesse; as well as his sister, Susan Kirkman.

Tom is predeceased in death by his parents, Thaddeus and Theresa Nowak.

The family would like to thank the Ensign Point staff at Schuyler Ridge for the excellent care given to him.

At Tom's request there will be no services. Arrangements are in the care of the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (518-584-5373).
