Saratoga Springs – Thomas Paul Kvasnack, AKA Tommy Kabbage, was sent to the angels on Saturday, April 19, 2025.
Born in the village of Ballston Spa in 1954, he was the son of the late Paul and Maureen Kvasnack. Tommy is a graduate of Ballston Spa High School and attended Schenectady County Community College, receiving two associate degrees.
Tommy loved watching baseball, football, and car racing. He was a big fan of the New York Yankees and NY Giants. Tommy was an avid skier and loved to play golf. He also enjoyed music and was a tremendous piano and keyboard player. Most of all Tommy loved relaxing by his pool on warm summer days.
Having had a long history of working on Caroline Street in Saratoga Springs as a Chief Mixologist, Tommy served over 35 years in establishments such as Sages, Hatties, and his long time love, Gaffneys. Eventually giving him his historic nickname, "Kabbage," and being known as the Caroline Street bartender.
He is survived by his son, Kristopher and his wife, Kelly from Saratoga Springs; mother-in-law, Caroline Reardon of Ballston Spa; many nieces, nephews and friends.
