Thomas Arthur Thrane, Sr. of West Street, Mechanicville, New York, passed away on November 9, 2025, at home with his family and caretakers by his side.  He was 89 years old.   Born on May 1, 1936, in Troy, New York, to the late Christian and Anita Thrane.

Thomas worked at Southworth Machinery/Southworth- Milton CAT in Menands, New York until his retirement.  Thomas worked as a Heavy Equipment Specialist.  He was honored by Milton CAT for his knowledge, expertise, and skills for his commitment of 42 years of employment.

Thomas enjoyed hunting with is two sons, working on his son's paving and excavation equipment, camping with his family at Pine Lake, nightly drives for ice cream to Stewart's, visiting family and friends, weekly trips to Vermont with his late wife, and "tinkering" through his overwhelming amount of "stuff".
