Saratoga Springs - Veronica K. McGrath passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Saratoga Hospital. She was 87. Born February 9, 1928 in County Tyrone, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Margaret Devlin. Veronica loved to sew and made altar cloths for St. Joseph's Church in Greenfield Center for 25 years. She was an avid gardener and grower of plants. Veronica was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband James M. McGrath, Jr. She is survived by her three children; Susan J. McGrath of Saratoga Springs, James M. McGrath, III and his wife Patti of Leesburg, VA and Lea Tarleton and her husband Mike of Columbus, OH; three grandchildren, James M. McGrath, Jr., Kelly McGrath and Patrick McGrath. Relatives and friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8pm Tuesday February 17, 2015 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway (584-5373). Funeral services will be held at 11am Wednesday February 18, 2015 in St. Joseph's Church, 3159 Route 9N, Greenfield Center. Burial will follow at the Gerald B.H.
