Saratoga Springs, NY - Vincent P. Kelly of Lakewood Drive, passed away peacefully Friday, May 6, 2011at his residence. He was 85. Born on Jan. 15, 1926 in Yonkers, NY, he was the son of the late Dennis and Alice (Simpson) Kelly and was a US Marine Corps veteran of World War Two. Following his honorable discharge, he worked in the printing field, which eventually moved him to Saratoga Springs. To his friends and family, he will long be remembered for his opinions! Vincent enjoyed playing the horses, poker and golf with the boys and he will be missed. Yet his great one-liners will live on! In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Egan Kelly, who died in 1994. He is survived by his children, Vincent Kelly (Julie) and Mary Laskey (Paul) of Ballston Spa, NY, Alison Kelly (Wally Brown) of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Doranne Mullan (Dan), Meg Kelly (Doug Mills) and Katie Kelly, all of Saratoga Springs, NY; his grandchildren, Erin, Austin and Trevor Kelly, Teri Wilson, Paul Laskey, Mathew & Alex Brown, Daniel & Ryan Mullan, Kelly McKinley and his best buddy, Egan Mills, whom he will forever have a special place in his heart for her and eleven great-grandchildren The family would like to thank his friends, Johnnie Ordemann, Dave Tessier, Len Powell, Jim Walls, Chuck DeVoe, Peter Caruso and Harold Kelly for their continued friendship to the end - we are forever grateful. Immediately following visitation, burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
