Saratoga Springs, NY - Vivian B. Harvey passed away Monday, June 16, 2014 at Saratoga Hospital. She was 100. Born on Dec. 21, 1913 in Hudson Falls, NY, she is the daughter of the late George F. and Josephine Nailor Barot. Vivian moved to Saratoga Springs in 1946 and worked as an examiner for 26 years at the Van Raalte Knitting Mill in Saratoga Springs, retiring in 1975. A communicant of St. Clement's Church, she was a member of the Saratoga Hospital Guild. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husbands, William J. Corbett and Ormsby Lee Harvey; one sister, Veronica Breeyear; her brother Alvin Barot and a grandson, Scott Davis. Survivors include two daughters, Ann Corbett Anderson of Fullerton, CA and Jean Corbett Spencer of Saratoga Springs; one sister, Helene Nelson of Schenectady; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; seven great-great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 7pm Thursday (June 19, 2014) in Our Lady's Chapel at the parish center of St. Clement's Church, 231 Lake Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30pm Friday, June 20, 2014 in St. Clement's Church by the Rev. Paul J. Borowski, C.Ss.R, pastor. Burial will follow in the family plot at Greenridge Cemetery, Lincoln Avenue.
