Saratoga Springs – Warren R. McManus entered "Eternal Life" after a brief illness on April 27, 2024. He passed away with his beloved wife, Patty and loving son, Scott, by his side.

Born in Boston on August 28, 1946, he was the eldest son of the late Warren B. and Dorothy (Gould) McManus.

In addition to his wife of 56 years, Patricia (McClellan) McManus and his son Scott McManus, Warren is survived by his brother Kenneth McManus and his wife, Nena McManus; sister, Paulette McManus Harrison and her longtime companion, Joseph Moniz; brother, Paul McManus, and his longtime companion, Sandy Coburn. He is also uncle to Karen L. McManus Carreiro and her husband, Larry Carreiro of Woburn, MA, Kevin McManus of Woburn, MA, Jason McManus of Rowlett, TX, Dawn Harrison of Nashua, NH and her children: James, Michael, and Alexandra Rossetti, Mark Harrison and his wife, Alexis of Temecula, CA and their children; Noah and Gavin Harrison.

Warren and his wife were lifetime residents of Cambridge, MA until relocating to Saratoga Springs after retirement.

He graduated from Cambridge High and Latin in 1964 and later studied Accounting at Bentley College. His career included being Chief Operating Officer for several non-profit agencies in the greater Boston Area; Commissioner for Cambridge Housing Authority for 34 years and he was a licensed Real Estate Broker.  Warren also owned many dozens of thoroughbred race horses that ran at tracks in 5 states over a 30 year span. His passion, however, was that of being a coach in the East Cambridge Little League for 16 years where he served as President for 4 years.

A funeral home service will begin at 1:00pm with a burial to immediately follow at St. Peters Cemetery, West Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
