Stillwater, NY - Wendy Susko Robichaud passed away Saturday, April 13, 2013 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer less than a year ago. Born on August 23, l971 at St. Peter's Hospital, Albany, NY, she was the daughter of David C. Susko of Troy and Barbara Clow Susko of East Greenbush. Wendy graduated in 1989 from Shaker High School in Latham; received her Bachelor's of Science degree in 1997, Magnum Cum Laude, from the College of Saint Rose and her Master's degree in Education in 2000 from The Sage Colleges. She was a Special Education teacher and began her position at Mechanicville Middle School in 1999 and moved to the Elementary School, both 2nd and 3rd grades, in January 2002. Wendy helped coordinate S.T.A.R.S. (an after school tutoring program) and the school recycling program. She was a member of the school Technology Committee, devoted to her students and enjoyed a wonderful group of friends during her tenure. Wendy was vibrant, talented, and creative and always maintained her great sense of humor. She particularly enjoyed organizing get-togethers (holidays, birthdays, Stillwater Fest, Brant Lake, etc.) with her circle of family and friends and was happiest when she was planning the next function. In addition to being survived by her parents, Wendy was the beloved wife of Timothy Robichaud and the loving and devoted mother of Isabella and Maximillian. She is also survived by her sister, Michele (Fardin Sanai) and her brothers David of Denver CO and Michael of Binghamton, NY; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends including Don, Joan and family. Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 6:30pm Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (584-5373). Funeral services will follow at 6:30pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, Wendy requested that contributions to pancreatic cancer research be made to The Lustgarten Foundation, 1111 Stewart Ave., Bethpage, NY 11714, (www.lustgarten.org).
