IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William J.
Boudreau
November 24, 1932 – April 30, 2022
Troy, NY- William "Bill" J. Boudreau, 89, beloved father, father-in-law, grandfather, and great-grandfather died on Saturday April 30, 2022.
He was born on November 24, 1932 in Niagara Falls, NY to Anna Mae (Fisher) Boudreau and Joseph Henry Boudreau, and was the brother of Jerauld Francis Boudreau. Bill is survived by his three children Lynn Stockman, Mark Boudreau (Clare), and William E. Boudreau; his brother-in-law Thomas Hodick; his three grandchildren Emily Marchese (Nicholas), Joseph Stockman, and Matthew Boudreau (Courtney Conlon); his two great-grandchildren Arthur and Molly Marchese; and his companion Kathryn Barnes. Bill is predeceased by his companion Carole Zwoboda and his beloved, wonderful wife of 46 years Justina M. Boudreau.
Raised in Niagara Falls, Bill then graduated from State University College for Teachers at Buffalo with his BS in Science (Industrial Arts Education) and eventually his MS in Science. He enlisted in the US Air Force in 1954 and received the Lieutenant Commission and Wings in 1956 while serving in the Air Defense Command, 60th Fighter Interceptor Squadron at Otis Air Force Base, Falmouth, MA. After his honorable discharge from the USAF, Bill had a long career as an educator, which ultimately led him to his role as State Supervisor of Occupational Education. There, he proudly shaped and updated the entire state-wide curriculum.
Bill and the love-of-his-life Tina were married in 1954, and they raised their children in Guilderland, NY. As a family, they enjoyed vacations in Cape Cod every summer and frequent trips to Western NY (Go Bills!). Bill and Tina moved to Saratoga Springs in 1992 where they developed deep friendships and enjoyed time on Bill's boat on Saratoga Lake. In his retirement, Bill became an avid fisherman on his boat JEM, named after his three grandkids. Most recently, Bill's proudest title became "Papa Booboo," so called by the "lights-of-his-life" Artie and Molly Marchese.
