Ballston Spa, NY – William M. Cherry, was taken by his Savior Jesus Christ on September 7, 2024. Bill was 77 years old and the son of the late Richard J. and Kathryn (Morris) Cherry.

He was predeceased by his brother Richard C. Cherry and sister Candace Salir. He is survived by his sister Marlene Coleman of Michigan; and three sons Brian and his wife Keri and daughter Alexandria of Burnt Hills, Evan, his sons Jaxson Chance and Cameron and his daughter Carsyn, of Ballston Spa, and Robert of Ballston Spa.

Bill graduated from Saratoga Springs High School, Hudson Valley Community College, and SUNY Brockport. He was retired from the NYS Education Department.

Bill was an avid horse racing fan but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
