Wilton, NY -On March 13, 2015, the world lost a great friend, husband & father due to complications from a stroke suffered on Christmas Eve. Born on June 25, 1951, William K. Crounse, Jr., "Bill" was the son of the late William H. Sr. and Helen (Ross) Crounse. Bill worked for many years in the trucking industry and while his work at Ryder was one of his favorites, that is where he met and maintained many friendships with numerous people. He also taught defensive driving for over 15 years. Bill adored his family and enjoyed fond memories of many years of camping with family and friends in "1Bounder" all year long and traveling along the east coast when his family was young. Bill loved Lake George and enjoyed boating with his family and friends, humorously naming his last boat "Empty Pockets". In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by his sister Carole and nephew, Justin William. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Bonnie (Zibell); sons, Todd William, Ryan Joseph and his fiancé, Jennifer Miller; his mother & father in‐law, George & Millicent Zibell; sister & brother‐in‐law, Kimberly & Patrick Fox;brother‐in‐law, George Zibell, Jr.; nieces, Hailey and Mallory Fox, Alyssa (Josh) Enfield; nephews, Craig, Colin and Andrew Zibell as well as his precious Golden Retrievers, Abbi and Lucy; his adorable Morkie and best buddy, Bailey. The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of the staff at Saratoga Hospital on A3 that cared for Bill, Dr. Bell, Dr.Wang, Dr. Kim, Dr. Zamar, Dr. White, as well as Hospice staff, nurses and volunteers for all of your support. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the family plot at St. Peter's Cemetery on West Ave., Saratoga Springs.
