Saratoga Springs - William (Billy) David MacDonald, 61, passed away June 11, 2018 after a life long battle with health issues. He was born May 13, 1957 in Roslyn, New York, the son of Forrest and the late Margaret (Bergin) MacDonald.

Billy spent his lifetime endearing himself to all those around him including his family and all the wonderful people who provided him with care, nurturing and support. He was an especially loved member in the various homes where he was cared for and was always known for his rambunctious spirit, take charge attitude and joy of life.

Billy is survived by his Father Forrest of Sierra Vista, Arizona, and his brothers; Paul of Galway, James of Rhode Island, and Forrest of Malta.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 12:00pm at the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY.
