Saratoga Springs - William (Bill) G. Hamlin passed away suddenly on October 29, 2020.  He was born in Catskill, NY on May 19, 1949.  He is predeceased by his father, Raymond E. Hamlin, Sr., his mother, J. Elizabeth Hamlin, and niece Jennifer Hamlin. He is survived by his partner of 23 years, Ron Bovie, brother Ray (Sandy) Hamlin, Jr., sister Sandra (Sherman) Wood, and sister Cynthia (Stephen) DeBellis.  He is also survived by niece, Samantha Wood, nephew Sherman (Erika) Wood IV, and niece Rebecca (Chris) Brand.

Bill's love of vintage cars took him to many car shows where he showed his 1989 Ford Tempo.  He worked as a supervisor for the New York State Department of Tax and Finance.

Relatives and friends may call from 3 to 7pm on Wednesday (November 4) at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway. Appropriate facemasks and social distancing will be required.

A private service will be celebrated at the All Saints Church in Hoosick Falls.

Burial will be at the family plot in Syracuse next to his mother and father.
