Porter Corners, NY - William M. Kmen, 85, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017.  Born in Saratoga Springs, he was the son of the late Henry J. Kmen and Mary O'Malley Kmen.

For many years Bill was the plant manager for Cushing Stone in Saratoga. He then had his own construction business until he retired.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brothers, Henry and Michael Kmen.

Bill is survived by his wife, Nancy Maynes Kmen; daughter, Laurie Kmen of Gig Harbor, WA; sons, Jeffrey of San Diego, Christopher of Saratoga Springs and David of Porter Corners; sisters, Mary Ann Hermann(Max), Eileen Castell ( Keith) and sisters-in-law, Betty and Susan Kmen; several cousins, nieces and nephews as well as his wonderful dog Abby.

Relatives and friends may call from 11am to 12noon on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017 at St. Joseph's Church, 3159 Rt. 9N, Greenfield Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon in the church and burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, West Ave., Saratoga Springs.

The family wishes to thank Community Hospice of Saratoga for their support of Bill and his family as well as Dr. Laddis, Dr. Capello, Dr. Borden, Dr. Delmonte and Dr. Taylor and their wonderful staff.
