Greenfield Center, NY - William F. Morrissey of Bump Hill Rd. passed away Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009 at Saratoga Hospital. He was 55. Born on Aug. 22, 1954 in Yonkers, NY, he was the son of the late John J. and Miriam Olwell Morrissey. Bill moved to this area 12 years ago and worked for FedEx at Albany Airport. He was an avid collector of vintage BMW motorcycles and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his loving wife of 21 years, Ruth E. (Golz) Morrissey and his daughter, Kathleen of Greenfield Center; one sister, Gail Heady of Marathon NY and one brother, Dan (Helen) Russbach of Woodbridge, CT as well as several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 6pm Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009 with funeral services at 5pm at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (584-5373). A memorial service will also take place at 11am Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009 at the Brewster Baptist Church, Brewster, NY. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
