Saratoga Springs, NY- Yvonne Gehring Farley, 95, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2022 in her home.

She was born in Gloversville to the late Charles Gehring and Yvonne Perrone Fallick. Yvonne attended Saratoga Springs High School and the College of Saint Rose. During World War II she volunteered at the armory in Saratoga Springs as an observer for the Army Air Force Air Warning Service. She wed George Farley in 1948. They were married for 33 years until his passing.

In addition to being a homemaker, she worked as a buyer and manager in retail, and was employed by Skidmore College for 15 years.

Yvonne was a long time member of the Katrina Trask Garden Club, the Saratoga Springs Historical Society, the Princepessa Elena Women's Auxiliary and Catholic Daughters. She was a communicant of The Church of St. Peter.

She had a passion for gardening, baking, antiques and the New York Yankees. Her greatest joy was time spent with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving children Brian (Valerie), Bruce, Lisa (Tom) Delaney, Mary (Tom) Hennessy; her beloved grandchildren Conor (Allie), Ciara and Caroline. Survivors also include her brother Charles (Jean) Gehring of Altamont, her sister, Rachael Fallick, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her stepfather, Max Fallick and sister, Joy (Gehring) Pehl.

A calling hour for family and friends will be held from 10am to 11am at The Historic Church of St. Peter, 241 Broadway, Saratoga Springs on Saturday, October 15. A Mass of Christian burial to immediately follow at 11am.

A private immediate family only graveside service will be held.
